Mercedes W211 & Specialty
The E-Class W211 is a favorite of ours. We work with the M113 V8, the 7G-Tronic transmission, COMAND, and the module network these cars depend on, so diagnostics, coding, and feature setup are handled by someone who knows the platform.
What it is
Overview
The W211 is a great car with some well-known weak points. We specialize in diagnosing and maintaining its electronics and systems.
- SBC (Sensotronic Brake Control): fault diagnosis, SBC warnings, and service-mode procedures (used on most pre-facelift cars; dropped around the 2007 facelift; confirm by VIN).
- Airmatic air suspension: leaks, compressor and relay issues, level calibration.
- ME2.8 engine management: misfires, lean codes, sensor faults, adaptations.
- 722.6 / 722.9 transmissions: fault codes, adaptation resets, conductor plate/valve body faults (722.9), fluid service guidance.
- COMAND / electrical: CAN/MOST communication faults, battery drain, module issues.

FAQ
Common questions
My dash says "Brake Failure / Visit Workshop". Is it safe?
Stop driving and call. That's often an SBC fault; it needs proper diagnosis.
My car sags overnight. Is it the struts?
Could be a strut, line, valve block, or compressor issue. We test to find which.
Do you use dealer-level software?
We use legitimate, licensed tools capable of Mercedes-specific diagnostics and adaptations.
Can you reset transmission adaptations?
Yes, on 722.6 and 722.9 units where appropriate.
Do you work on other Mercedes models?
Often yes. Call with the model and year.
